Several of us planned to go to Governor’s Island tomorrow, Saturday. Unfortunately, my husband had a mild health setback today, and I am concerned about leaving him for a long time until I see how he is doing. Therefore, I will not be coming on Saturday. I regret not being able to be with you for this trip.

The plan was to meet in time to catch the 10 am ferry to Governor’s Island. If you are planning on going, take water, snacks, and an umbrella. The weather report says there will be rain tonight, and a 20% chance of rain during the day tomorrow. Food and drinks are available on Governor’s Island, but it is not certain how far from the ferry you must walk to get to the food service area.

Governor’s Island is accessible, but paths are sometimes uneven, so plan for that.

The group is planning a trip to the Museum of the Moving Image at a date to be determined. Hope to see you there!
