Our Goal
Is to provide information about resources within the five boroughs of New York City and online for people with aphasia and those who care for them. Please let us know if you know of any aphasia resources in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or Staten Island.

AphasiaNYC has been an aphasia resource since 2004.

Is difficulty talking, understanding language, reading or writing from: a stroke, aneurysm, head injury, brain tumor or other neurological disorder.

The web administrator is a licensed speech-language pathologist who volunteers with the International Aphasia Movement, which provides free group speech therapy to people with aphasia.
